Pastoral Support Letter for 2026:

Dear Friends and Family,

My name is Min Lee and I serve as the pastor LA City Baptist Church in the heart of Los Angeles. As we look ahead to 2026, I am raising $84,000 to continue serving full-time in our inner-city mission work. I invite you to prayerfully consider partnering with us in this mission.

Beginning in 2026, our church will host mission teams and launch several new ministry initiatives focused on reaching some of the most challenging communities in inner-city Los Angeles with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Since my family began serving at LA City Baptist Church in 2018, we have witnessed the Lord’s faithfulness and provision time and time again. What once seemed impossible has become possible through His amazing grace. Despite countless challenges, God has continued to move – replanting the church, transforming lives, and proclaiming the Gospel in ways that bring all glory to Him.

Our 2026 Ministry Goals

​

1. Holistically meet community needs

We plan to integrate our neighborhood food distribution with a kids’ outreach program for unchurched families. Over the years, we’ve learned that true transformation involves more than meeting physical needs – it’s about building relationships and serving our neighbors with dignity and love. We’ve noticed many children coming alongside their parents and grandparents during food distribution and we see this as a beautiful opportunity to minister to them directly through an intentional, gospel-centered kids’ program. 
 

2. Raise the next generation of inner-city missionaries

We will launch internships to raise up young missionaries who will boldly proclaim the Gospel of Jesus in some of the most challenging areas of our nation. To see lasting transformation, we must equip young leaders who live, work, and minister within the city. Our goal is to launch 2-12 month internships in 2026 to train at least seven young adults.
 

3. Host short-term mission teams

We will host short-term mission trips for churches and ministries. Whether for a weekend, a week, or two weeks, your team can join us in serving alongside local believers and long-term partners in some of the most volatile areas of Los Angeles. Come join us!
